SEBASTIAN — Farm & Flame, the eatery that’s quickly become a local staple, has expanded its hours to include lunch service. It has also drawn rave reviews from local diners in Sebastian and Vero Beach.
The restaurant, known for its farm-fresh ingredients and inventive dishes, rolled out its midday menu this week, offering a lineup of salads and sandwiches that highlight seasonal produce and bold flavors. Patrons have praised the vibrant options, with one reviewer calling the beet carpaccio “a game-changer for lunch in Sebastian.”
Among the salads, the beet carpaccio features tri-color roasted beets paired with orange segments, shaved apples, pickled red onions, goat cheese foam, candied pistachios and arugula, all drizzled in citrus dressing. Seafood lovers can opt for the shrimp panzanella, which combines farm sourdough bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, shaved bell peppers, red onions, purple basil, spring mix, frisée and kale in a red wine dressing.
Other salad standouts include the chicken paillard with grilled half-chicken over arugula, frisée, shaved parmesan, fennel, grapes and tomatoes in citrus dressing; the grilled kale with chicken breast, fire-roasted kale, sourdough croutons, pickled onions, shaved parmesan and house Caesar; and the flank salad mixing greens with roasted red peppers, grilled onions, zucchini, tomatoes and blue cheese in red wine dressing.
On the sandwich side, choices range from the catch-of-the-day sandwich with fresh fish, tomatoes, red onions, mixed greens and Granny’s tartar sauce on house-made ciabatta, to the chicken sandwich available grilled or crispy with red onions, greens, mayo and ketchup. The pork belly burger piles crispy pork belly with tomatoes, onions, greens, ketchup and mayo on ciabatta, while the signature Farm & Flame burger boasts a special blend patty topped with thick-cut pork belly, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions, peppers and chimichurri aioli on sourdough ciabatta.
Rounding out the menu are the Farm Philly with shaved ribeye, queso blanco, gruyere, caramelized onions on sourdough focaccia; the grilled fish sandwich with arugula, baby kale, tomato, pickled onions and chimichurri aioli; and the chicken saltimbocca featuring arugula, prosciutto, basil pesto and sun-dried tomatoes. Prices are between $14 and $22.
Though its official address is listed as 9320 90th Ave. in Vero Beach, Farm & Flame sits squarely in Sebastian, tucked behind the Publix on County Road 512 and directly across from Sebastian River High School. The spot’s convenient location has helped fuel its growing popularity since opening for dinner last year. For reservations, call 772-918-8396 (Recommended).
Owners say the lunch expansion aims to cater to the area’s working crowd and families, with hours running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
