The Crab Stop in Sebastian, Florida is one of our favorites, as we enjoyed Happy Hour and some appetizers from their menu.
Last Friday, we took a group of friends there and enjoyed our time. This restaurant remains consistent when it comes to service and food. We stayed for Happy Hour and dinner.
This has been one of the best restaurants to come here since we announced it was coming to Sebastian. The restaurant has an upbeat atmosphere, and we noticed a blues band setting up outside on the patio by the river.
Crab Stop’s Happy Hour is from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. They offer 2 for 1 selected domestic draft beers, 2 for 1 house wines, and 2 for 1 well drinks. Also, all appetizers on the menu are $2 off during Happy Hour.
While enjoying our 2 for 1 drinks, I ordered the Crab Balls appetizer. This appetizer has large chunks of crabmeat mixed in with some breadcrumbs and spices. It is served with a zesty sauce on the side for dipping.
As the sun was going down, they lit up several tiki torches, and then the band started to play. The band was called Stoney and The House Rockers.
The outdoor patio of the restaurant has one of the best views of the river, and the music only made our time there even more enjoyable.
In some ways, this place is a gem for people after work. The 2 for 1 drinks and $2 off appetizers are a great combination.
We saw couples walking down the dock, enjoying the night, as the band played some of the best blues I’ve ever heard.
Our initial Crab Stop review was done in March, and so far they have only expanded. The patio area now has more tables and sitting areas than before. Some tables are closer to the water.
They also added tables on the south end of the restaurant, which also has a great view. You don’t need reservations, but they recommend them for larger groups. Last October, Crab Stop received a perfect health inspection rating.
The Crab Stop Sebastian menu continues to meet all high expectations in Sebastian. The owners (Ellis & Brandy) live locally and honestly care about this restaurant.
