On Wednesday, we visited Sebastian’s Roadside Restaurant to check out their lunch menu. We were seated right away by our server, Mandi, who provided prompt service.
We asked Mandi what her favorite item was on the menu, and she suggested the cheesesteak sandwich.
We ordered the Sebastian’s Best Cheese Steak Sandwich that comes with thinly sliced ribeye grilled with peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheese on a hoagie roll for $9.99. The sandwich comes with two sides; I choose coleslaw & onion rings. They were an up-charge of $2.99 but worth it.
The cheesesteak sandwich comes with two different kinds of cheese, so make sure you want both types, or you may want to ask for just one.
When my food arrived, I couldn’t believe the size of the onion rings. The sandwich looked delicious, and everything else was great. The cheese was still melting as they served it.
The first bite into the sandwich and I understand why people prefer to have it with grilled ribeye and not some other meat. There was so much flavor, and the peppers, onions, and mushrooms complimented this sandwich. It is served on a hoagie roll, and the size of the sandwich was just right.
Although it came with four onion rings, I couldn’t finish them. The coleslaw was also delicious.
Pros and Cons:
- Pros: A sandwich this good with grilled ribeye is only $9.99.
- Cons: My coke was flat.
