It’s time to put the big boy pants on
Why would you broadcast super-spreader events in our county that shouldn’t even be allowed?
First, you advertise the Frog Leg Festival and then all the bars having concerts and karaoke. Then you talk about the number of infections and deaths!
You did, however, advise wearing masks at these events, but everyone knows darn well that most people won’t and don’t! If your concerned about saving lives in our hometown maybe you should be reporting on how getting covid vaccines are almost impossible!
Your broadcasts have been great since you’ve started. But it’s time to put the big boy pants on and report what really matters to us.
Blatant disregard by attending mass gatherings where there’s going to be drinking involved is not something to be front and center. We need real journalism to report on what’s the most important to us citizens, which right now is staying safe and getting the vaccine.
Our bars, restaurants and festivals will only continue to be shut down at an even higher rate if they are promoted by your broadcasts. You have an obligation as our local hometown news to report what’s happening with the vaccine and why it’s almost impossible to get one here. Report it whether it’s good or bad news!
Our citizens deserve to know what is going on and what to expect. You can still be a very popular program without promoting careless events attended by careless attendees.
It’s time to face the facts and do the right things. Your broadcasts can save lives if YOU do the right thing.
