Wabasso Beach Park will be closed from Monday, March 15, 2021, through Saturday, March 20, 2021, for Disney’s Vero Beach Resort Dune Repair Project. They will reopen Sunday, March 21, 2021, from sunrise to sunset.
Seagrape Trail Beach Access will be closed from Tuesday, March 16, 2021, through Friday, March 19, 2021, for a private dune repair project. Seagrape Trail Beach Access will reopen sunrise to sunset on Saturday, March 20, 2021.
Both projects received permits through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP).
Beach Surveys for biological monitoring will be completed every morning before any work begins on the beach in order to protect nesting shorebirds and sea turtles.
