The Sebastian Inlet Sail & Power Squadron performed their quarterly cleanup on Thursday of their adopted Spoil Islands, known as #12, #13, and #14.

“There was little debris to pick up. This means that our citizens are being very conscientious and taking their trash with them when they leave,” the group said in a statement.

About 20 pounds of trash was collected from all three islands.

Since November 2003, the Sebastian Inlet Sail & Power Squadron is the local unit of the world’s largest non-profit boating organization, the United States Power Squadron.
