Sebastian Inlet Fishing Report at Pier

Brandon Luke caught this snook at the Sebastian Inlet.

Our latest Sebastian Inlet Fishing Report showed a lot of activity this past week, with snook biting at the pier.

The Atlantic snook harvest season recently closed on Dec. 15, 2019. Snook are aggressive when caught, with a fighting ability.

They are excellent eating and fun to catch. They do have strict catch limits and closures.

In the photo above, Brandon Luke had an excellent catch last week. Luke, 24, describes himself as a local who loves to fish. He’s also the owner of VIP Treasure Coast Mobile Detailing.

Luke said he decided to go out and landed the large fish after “just messing around” when he caught the 40-inch snook. Great catch Luke!

Next up is a 30-inch catch by Jennifer Oldham.

“I used live finger mullet and a Penn Slammer III Spinning reel,” Oldham told Sebastian Daily.

Joshua Tyrrell also had a good snook catch with a small silver casting spoon. It weighed in at 8.1 pounds

Joshua Tyrrell.

“A small silver casting spoon from Strike Zone Melbourne, with a quantum rod reel combo with 30lb braided line,” Tyrrell said.
