The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation (FWC) told Sebastian Daily that a man from Malabar went overboard while fishing at the Sebastian Inlet State Park.
The man, identified as Samuel Martinez, 33, was fishing on a boat when he fell overboard and was later found dead.
Martinez’s body was found around 9:45 p.m. Friday night.
“Our thoughts are with the family of Mr. Martinez during this difficult time,” the FWC said.
The investigation is ongoing and we will provide updates as new information is available.
