Approximately 53 anglers registered for the Love to Serve Fishing Tournament, which was Saturday, headquartered at Capt’n Butchers.
The Love to Fish tournament allowed anglers to catch fish by boat or off the pier at Capt’n Butchers. The weather was pleasant, and many people showed up to watch the weigh-in.
Amanda Hackford, founder, and director at Love to Serve, Inc., said many anglers decided not to fish because of the high winds. Overall, it was an enjoyable day.

Love to Serve, Inc.
The core of Love to Serve, Inc’s efforts is to “fill in the gaps with love” by building partnerships with other non-profit organizations in our community and give them relief where it is needed. In addition to that, they provide uniforms to registered homeless children within our school district, provide necessary household items for foster children who age out of the system, host a monthly food distribution, cook homecooked meals for their shelters, and much more.
