SEBASTIAN — Two Orlando Health hospitals in Florida’s East Region have earned top honors for their wound care services, receiving the Healogics Center of Distinction Award for superior clinical results and patient satisfaction.
Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital and Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital were singled out for the recognition, which highlights centers that meet rigorous standards in wound treatment and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient healing.
Healogics, the company that manages Orlando Health’s wound care centers across the system, presents the award to facilities showing exceptional performance in its “Find. Treat. Heal.” approach.
In all, four Orlando Health wound care centers received the distinction: Sebastian River Hospital, Health Central Hospital, Melbourne Hospital, and South Lake Hospital.
Orlando Health, a private not-for-profit healthcare system based in Orlando, oversees a network of medical facilities serving Florida, Alabama, and Puerto Rico.
