VERO BEACH — The Treasure Coast Foodie will host its annual Golden Fork Awards on Feb. 2, celebrating top culinary talent along Florida’s Treasure Coast with tastings from 10 local restaurants and honors in several categories.
The event is set for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Celebration Grove, 3515 66th Ave., Vero Beach. Attendees can sample chef-prepared bites, vote for a People’s Choice favorite and see winners announced for Top 10 Best Dishes, Chef of the Year and Restaurant of the Year.
Participating eateries include Butter Cup Bakery Café, Counter Culture Beachside, Daddy’s Donuts, Dinner Revolution, Island Pig & Fish, Mai Thai Bistro, Padel Grille, Quik Snak, Taj Mahal Masala and Tequila Azteca Mexican Restaurant.
A portion of proceeds will go to The Food Pantry of Indian River County, the area’s largest food pantry, which has served the disadvantaged, unemployed and underemployed since 1987.
Indian River State College culinary arts students will assist at the event, gaining hands-on experience with local professionals.
