SEBASTIAN — The third annual Love of Paws Fundraiser Walk will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. along the Sebastian Preserve Rail Trail. Participants will gather at the North County Aquatic Center parking lot, 9450 County Road 512, Sebastian, FL 32958.
Attendees can choose a leisurely stroll on the scenic trail or settle into a chair to enjoy live music, a pet costume contest, walk prizes, local artisans, specialty foods and raffles featuring items valued at $250. Those include premium wines, a two-person cruise on the Lagoon, and restaurant dining certificates.
The event, sponsored by The Circle of Friends in Sebastian, supports For the Love of Paws, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The organization runs Paws Meals on Wheels and a Pet Sanctuary program that delivers more than 12,000 pounds of pet food each month to seniors in need, providing peace of mind for owners. The sanctuary also accepts pets from senior citizens who can no longer care for them when they enter hospice, memory care, or nursing homes.
Pet owners are encouraged to bring their furry friends to walk the trails with the For the Love of Paws team. Watering stations will be available along the route for the animals.
Proceeds will help sustain the programs and expand services throughout Indian River County.
Registration costs $20. To sign up, call 484-686-1220 or visit the Eventbrite page.
The first 20 participants to arrive at the event will receive a T-shirt.
