45th Annual “Terror on Main Street” Haunted House
The 45th annual Terror on Main Street haunted house, hosted by GFWC Sebastian River Junior Woman’s Club, offers a terrifying walk-through experience, located at 1036 Main St. in Sebastian. The haunted house will be open from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on:
- Fri. & Sat., Oct. 10-11
- Fri. & Sat., Oct. 17-18
- Fri. & Sat., Oct. 24-25
- Wed., Thurs., & Fri., Oct. 29, 30, 31
All proceeds benefit science and music camps, local schools and charities, the Sebastian Police Department’s activities, the Sebastian River High School Marching Band, local food banks and kitchens, and other community initiatives.

The Haunted Barn at Southern Oaks Barn & Venue
The Haunted Barn will be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Southern Oaks Barn & Venue, located at 6580 69th Street, Vero Beach.

Capt. Hirams Costume Drive
Capt. Hiram’s Resort is hosting its second annual costume drive for children, aiming to ensure every child can participate in trick-or-treating. The resort is accepting gently used and new Halloween costumes for all ages, with donation boxes at the Blackfins host stand or the resort’s front desk. Collections continue through Oct. 23.

City of Sebastian Halloween Celebrations
The City of Sebastian will host its Annual Halloween Celebration on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Riverview Park. It will include a trunk-or-treat, costume contest, and an outdoor screening of Minecraft.
The Trunk-or-Treat event, hosted by the Treasure Coast Jeep Club, will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the park. Attendees can also sign up for the costume contest at this time.
Next, the Costume Contest will begin at 6:15 p.m. Prizes will be available for winners in five age groups, ranging from 0 to 12 years old. So, bring your best costume.
Then, the movie Minecraft will begin at 7:15 p.m. under the stars between the Twin Piers.
Trunk or Treat at Sebastian Sandwich Shack
Sebastian Sandwich Shack will be hosting a Trunk or Treat events on Friday, October 24, 2025, starting at 5:30 pm. So, gather your littles, tweens, and teens for some ghoulish goodies!

Get ready for a night of safe, family-friendly fun at Coast Church on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Bring the kids to trick-or-treat across the campus, enjoy carnival-style games, bounce houses, and upbeat music under the fall sky. A food truck will be on site, so come hungry.
Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for something extra sweet; Rumor has it, that there is a Golden Ticket waiting for a few lucky attendees. Costumes encouraged. All welcome.

Sebastian Scream | Movie Night, 5K Costume Run, Trunk or Treat, Haunted Trail, and Dance Performances at Sebastian Rail Trail
From haunted houses to candy-filled trunk-or-treats, Sebastian families have plenty of ways to make unforgettable Halloween memories with their kids.
Local law enforcement and fire departments are teaming up for the biggest Halloween event yet, with all proceeds supporting first responder mental health programs in Indian River County.
On October 25th, Sebastian Scream will transform the Sebastian Rail Trail with exciting activities, including:
- Movie Night at North County Pool, starting at 4 p.m.
- 5K Costume Run, starting at 5 p.m.
- Trunk-or-Treat, starting at 6 p.m. in the parking lot
- Haunted Trail with scare zones crafted by each agency, starting at 6:30 p.m.
- Dance performances and more!
The event kicks off at 4 p.m. with a movie night at North County Pool. Parking is available at the pool, with overflow along WW Ranch Road. Tickets can be purchased online, at local law enforcement offices, or at the Indian River County Emergency Operations Center.

- Trunk-or-Treat: Free
Costumes are encouraged, but masks and golf carts are prohibited for safety. The event is family-friendly, though the haunted trail may be too intense for young children.
