SEBASTIAN — Authorities in Sebastian are investigating an act of vandalism that left the restrooms at Schumann Drive Park heavily damaged and closed.
Security camera footage shows the incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Nov. 6, according to the Sebastian Police Department. The extent of the destruction has forced city officials to shutter the facilities until repairs can be completed.
Police are urging anyone with information about the vandalism to come forward. Tips can be provided by calling the department at (772) 589-5233, extension 8750.
The park remains open otherwise, but visitors are advised to plan accordingly, as access to the restrooms is unavailable.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
