The Sebastian Police Department said a woman was found deceased in a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot early Saturday morning. There were no signs of foul play, police said.
At approximately 8:30 a.m., law enforcement officers were dispatched to Walmart in response to reports of an unresponsive woman. Upon their arrival at the scene, they located a female slumped over the car’s steering wheel.
“Officers opened the vehicle door and found the woman deceased. When SPD detectives arrived on the scene, it was determined there was no evidence of foul play, and after speaking with family and doctors, it was determined she passed away from natural causes,” Lieutenant Rob Vafiades told Sebastian Daily.
The woman’s family has been notified of her passing. Currently, the detectives have not disclosed the identity of the deceased woman.
