VERO BEACH — The Indian River County Main Library has kicked off its inaugural concert series, offering free live music performances for all ages through the end of the year.
The series features regional musicians in a distraction-free, concert-style setting at the library, located in Vero Beach. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. for each Sunday show.
The lineup began Sept. 14 with singer-songwriter Scott Smith, who performed an “Afternoon of Memories” blending classic songs and originals.
Upcoming events include Dave DeLuca with “Legends of Country” on Oct. 19; Brenna Bavis and Cary DeNigris as the Dynamic Duo presenting “The Best of Christmas” on Nov. 23; and Chris Bates delivering classic rock with his one-man “virtual band” on Dec. 7.
“We take pride in offering a variety of adult and children’s activities for Indian River County residents to experience at our branches and Main Library,” said Elizabeth Stenger, director of library services.
Organizers highlight the convenience of daytime events, avoiding night driving and parking issues.
