Spazmatics are from Orlando and played at Captain Hiram's Resort last Saturday.

The Captain Hiram’s Resort was in full swing Saturday night while the Spazmatics, a popular band from Orlando, performed at the Sandbar in front of a large crowd.

Our staff from Sebastian Daily arrived at around 10:30 p.m. to record the band right after their break. The band is funny and entertaining.

If you were at Hiram’s last Saturday night, you might be in our video.

The dance floor was crowded and busy throughout our stay. One lucky patron, Nicole Brady, was invited to sing on the stage with the band.

The Spazmatics band members say they like dungeons and dragons, chess, math, new wave, board games, star wars, and star trek.

According to the band’s Facebook page, their influences are their parents and David Hasselhoff.

We asked the band if they are booked for Captain Hiram’s again, and they said “we would love to come back,” but no date has been scheduled.

We’ll keep you updated on when they come back. This band is one to see when they return to Sebastian.
