ShrimpFest in Sebastian Was a Huge Success – Photos

ShrimpFest 2021

The ShrimpFest & Craft Brew Hullabaloo in Sebastian was a bit different this year amid COVID-19 concerns. But, in the end, it was a huge success, with one of the highest turnouts for any festival at Riverview Park.

The annual ShrimpFest in Sebastian is brought to you by the Rotary Club of Sebastian and the Exchange Club of Fellsmere. The two organizations raise funds to support local youth sports and organizations.

“Big shout out to our clubs, the beneficiaries, the volunteers, and the city for a fun and successful event. It’s all about the kids,” Event organizer Marc Gringas told Sebastian Daily.

2021 Beneficiaries

There were several food trucks this year serving various shrimp menu items around the park. Derek Gerry of Mash Monkeys Brewing Company helped to organize 20 food trucks around the park. The food was a huge success.

The Craft Beer Hullabaloo was held on Saturday, with 28 breweries lined up near the water across the street from the park. There were more breweries and more people out this year than prior. Pete Anderson of Pareidolia Brewing Company organized the beer tasting event.

The live bands included SoulJam, Golden Ukes, Ladies of Soul, The String Assassins, Lost in Da Mail, and Professor Pennygoode’s Mighty Flea Circus.

We will announce the total amount raised as soon as the amount is made available.
