The Sebastian Police Department will bring the community together for a day of school preparation, fun, and learning at its Annual Back-to-School Fun Day on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Riverview Park.
The Sebastian PD’s Community-Oriented Policing Endeavor (C.O.P.E.) and School Resource Officers (S.R.O.), are collaborating with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to put on this annual event.
Together, they aim to equip students with what they need for a successful school year while creating positive relationships between the men in blue and the community.
They will be offering free backpacks filled with school supplies like notebooks, pencils, pens, and folders to help ease the financial burden on families.
What to Expect at the Back-to-School Fun Day
The event will feature a variety of family-friendly activities:
- Dunk Tank: The dunk tank will offer a fun opportunity for kids and adults to take aim at local officers and community volunteers, adding a splash of laughter to the day.

- DJ and Music: They will have a live DJ to keep the energy flowing and create a festive atmosphere for dancing and enjoyment.
