In recognition of years of selfless service and commitment to the community, the Sebastian Daily and the Pareidolia Brewing Company proudly declare Charles Stadelman as our Citizen of the Month.
Stadelman, who has resided in Sebastian for nearly four decades, has spent countless hours volunteering at local events and serving on civic committees, all in a bid to make Sebastian an even better place to live.
Stadelman has been a volunteer at an impressive array of events over the years in Sebastian, including River Days, Police Night Out, BrewFest, Christmas Parades, Earth Day, the Community Oyster Garden, and he has provided steadfast support to the Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce. His tireless effort to contribute to the vibrancy of our community and its events is nothing short of inspiring.
In addition to his volunteer work, Stadelman has left his mark on the local sports community as a soccer coach at the Barber Street Sports Complex.
His spirit of service extends to the Rotary Club of Sebastian, where he has been a dedicated member for five years. Stadelman’s unwavering commitment to the club’s mission is a testament to his devotion to our community.
Stadelman also currently chairs the National Resource Board for the City of Sebastian, where he has been a vital member for nearly six years. He has made significant contributions in his role, demonstrating his deep commitment to preserving our natural resources and ensuring a sustainable future for Sebastian.
His work with the Sustainable Sebastian initiative, the Integrated Pest Management project, and the city’s 2040 Comprehensive Plan underscores Stadelman’s passion for our city’s environment and future. His initiatives are not just about the here and now but also about ensuring the well-being of generations to come.
