The Roseland Women’s Club is gearing up for its next hands-on effort to keep our local green spaces pristine on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Residents are invited to join the group for a park cleanup at the Roseland Community Building and Park, located at 12973 83rd Avenue.
This initiative isn’t a one-off; it’s part of the club’s ongoing commitment to monthly cleanups aimed at tackling invasive plants and sprucing up the park for everyone in Roseland.
The organisation is teaming up with Friends of the St. Sebastian River for these monthly cleanups, boosting efforts to remove invasive plants and protect the local ecosystem. This collaboration highlights the power of united conservation initiatives.
Volunteers are encouraged to come prepared for some outdoor action by packing their own gloves, gardening tools, sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, and any other essentials that will keep them comfortable while digging. No experience necessary – just enthusiasm.
Beyond the dirt and determination, the Roseland Women’s Club is a powerhouse for local empowerment. The group dedicates itself to building stronger ties through events that spotlight health tips, nature preservation, historical insights, acts of kindness, and ways to connect with neighbors. Whether it’s workshops or socials, they’re all about enriching lives in Roseland.
