Pareidolia Brewing Company raised $6,903 last month through its 4th Annual Open Golf Scramble to benefit Florida Elks Children’s Therapy Services (FECTS). The event was held at Sandridge Golf Club in Vero Beach.
The Pareidolia Open Golf Scramble, an annual tradition on the last Saturday of July, embraces a scramble format that prioritizes enjoyment and camaraderie. Participants of all skill levels teed off at 8:00 a.m.
Located at 712 Cleveland Street in Sebastian, Pareidolia Brewing Company was established in 2014 by Pete and Lynn Anderson. The brewery is known for its high-quality, creative beers served across 16 taps in its welcoming taproom.
Pareidolia hosts regular events, including live music, food truck gatherings, trivia nights, and charity initiatives, which foster a strong sense of community.
This year’s golf scramble beneficiary, Florida Elks Children’s Therapy Services, provides free in-home physical and occupational therapy to children across Florida’s 67 counties. Founded in 1999 by the Florida State Elks Association, FECTS delivers child-centered care to families who face financial barriers or live in areas with limited access to therapy services.
The program provides tailored physical therapy through weekly home visits to enhance mobility and occupational therapy to improve daily living skills, all at no cost to families and without reliance on government funding.
