VERO BEACH — Families in Indian River County can immerse themselves in the world of local agriculture at the Inaugural AgVenture Fest, set for Saturday, Oct. 25, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Indian River County Fairgrounds & Expo Center.
The hands-on festival, hosted by UF/IFAS Extension Indian River County, is designed to educate and entertain both children and adults.

Registration costs $10 per child or $12.51, which includes fees; this covers participation in six educational stations and a swag bag. Admission is free for all others.
The day kicks off with:
- 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.: Registration and check-in.
- 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Station rotations, each 20 minutes.
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Families can enjoy lunch—available for purchase onsite—and additional attractions, including a petting zoo, touch-a-tractor exhibit, roping demonstrations, a photo booth, and more.
