Ecofest “Our Planet, Our Health” at Environmental Learning Center

Ecofest

The Environmental Learning Center would like to invite the public to their Ecofest “Our Planet, Our Health” on Sunday, March 1, 2020, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is free for the whole family.

Ecofest is an afternoon of outdoor fun, where we can celebrate how our planet is connected to our health.

The ELC will be offering quick canoe trips in the mangroves, they will have live animals from the Treasure Coast Wildlife Center, and the Bearded Chef will be serving up food.

Activities & Crafts

The activities and crafts will include an EcoQuest Challenge, Greeting Cards to the Government, a Water, Water Exhibit, Giant Bubbles, a Biocube Scavenger Hunt, Pine Cone Bird Feeders, and Face Painting.

Exhibition Booths

There will be exhibition booths presented by the FAU Harbor Branch Marine Mammal Ambulance, League of Women Voters, Pelican Island Audubon Society, Barrier Island Center, Brevard Zoo, Click and Grow, and Florida Forest Service.

Giveaways

There will be chances to win a pontoon boat rides for a family of 4, and ELC memberships for one year. You will receive one voucher per person in attendance at EcoFest. You must provide your name and email address to enter. All winners will be announced at 3:00 pm on March 1, 2020 – you must be present to win.

The ELC is open Monday – Saturday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, and Sunday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
