VERO BEACH — Pet lovers can look forward to a day of demonstrations, contests, and family fun at the Doggie & Pet Palooza, with a portion of proceeds benefiting local animal nonprofits.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Indian River County Fairgrounds & Expo Center, located at 7955 58th Ave. in Vero Beach. Admission and parking are free for all attendees.
There will be a Doggie & Pet Fashion Show, Indian River County Sheriff’s Office K-9 and SWAT Team Demonstrations, wild animals from Florida Wildlife Hospital in Melbourne & Elle’s Rescue, pet tricks, a pet fashion show, fairy hair styling, photo sessions, pet portraits, food trucks, raffles, prizes, face painting, a bounce house, and a pet-and-owner look-alike contest.
Schedule
- 11:30 am – 12:30 pm: Doggie & Pet Fashion Show – Bring your pet dressed to impress for this fun fashion show. Prim Palm Beach will have clothes available for pets who would like to participate. Great prizes for the winner!
- 12:30 pm: Indian River County Sheriff’s Office K-9 and SWAT Team Demonstrations – Meet the Indian River County Sheriff’s Department K-9’s who will be performing demonstrations.
- 2:00 pm: Owner-Pet Look-a-like Contest – This is a fun event where pet owners and their pets will be featured for their great looks.

Attendees can visit nonprofit booths to buy raffle tickets for prizes. A share of the event’s proceeds will go to several pet-focused organizations, including the IRCSO K-9 unit, Florida Wildlife Rescue, and others.
Bring your furry or feathered friends—pets are welcome! All pets must be kept on a leash at all times for everyone’s safety. A designated pet potty area is available for your convenience.
