Riverview Park

The City of Sebastian will close a portion of Riverview Park beginning on Monday, July 27, 2020 for approximately three weeks.

“This closure will involve removal and replacement of the sidewalk within the park along with the addition of tree protection for the trees immediately adjacent to the sidewalk,” Brian Benton, Leisure Services Director, told Sebastian Daily.

Benton says the project is part of the City’s Riverview Park Master Plan and Tree Protection Plan.

According to the map, the sidewalks around most areas of the park will be replaced. The public restrooms will also be closed during the three-week period.

The areas of construction also includes the park’s playground and the water fountain.
