GRANT-VALKARIA – The Brevard County Fire Rescue has responded to a brush fire in the area of Toby Avenue and Valkaria Road in Grant.
“Units from BCFR, Palm Bay, Malabar and Florida Forest Service are on scene,” The Brevard County Fire Rescue said in a statement.
Residents are concerned as winds are gusting up to 20 mph. The area is very dry.
“Soooo thankful for these real life superheroes,” Allison Voltaire wrote on Facebook.
Two firefighters told Sebastian Daily that the brush fire is still burning, but all under control at this point in time.
