VERO BEACH — Christopher Marine, a veteran real estate attorney with Gould Cooksey Fennell, has retired after a 42-year career marked by deep community ties and client dedication in Vero Beach.
Marine, who specialized in real estate law, built a reputation as a go-to advisor for families, businesses and professionals across the region. His expertise extended beyond local boundaries, earning him respect over four decades.
“Christopher has been instrumental in shaping who we are as a firm,” said Anthony Guettler, the firm’s managing partner. “His commitment to client service, his integrity, and his leadership built the culture and values our team embraces every day. We are excited for him as he begins this next chapter, and deeply grateful for the legacy he leaves behind.”
The firm’s real estate practice remains in strong hands, with partner Sandra Rennick continuing to lead the group. Backed by the broader team, the practice is poised to maintain its focus on community, trust and legal excellence—principles Marine embodied throughout his tenure.
Local figures echoed the sentiment. “He has provided many hours of wise consulting and advice, not only to my family and company but to many others in our community,” said Dale Sorensen Sr., broker and owner of Dale Sorensen Real Estate. “Christopher and the firm are very valuable assets to their clients and the well-being of all Indian River County residents.”
In retirement, Marine plans to spend more time with his wife, Debby, visit his sons Christopher and Sam more often, and relax on his farm in Georgia.
The firm invites clients, colleagues and friends to celebrate Marine’s contributions to Gould Cooksey Fennell and the Vero Beach area.
Gould Cooksey Fennell, founded in 1955, provides legal services in estate planning, real estate and personal injury across the Treasure Coast.
