SEBASTIAN — After 15 years of ownership, John and Becky are stepping down from J.J. Manning’s Irish Pub, a longtime fixture in Sebastian known for its pints, burgers and lively gatherings.
The couple announced their farewell to patrons Thursday, expressing gratitude for the support that turned the pub into more than just a business. “It’s been a home, a gathering place, and a true extension of our family,” they said. “Your unwavering support, friendship, and patronage over these years have meant the world to us.”
Located in Sebastian, the pub has been a popular Irish-themed spot for locals. John and Becky highlighted the community’s role in making those moments special, “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for letting us be a part of your lives.’
The transition comes with new owners Chuck and Kristy Bradford taking over. The outgoing proprietors voiced confidence in the pair’s ability to maintain the pub’s traditions while infusing fresh energy. “We’re excited to share that J.J. Manning’s will continue under new ownership,” they said. “They bring fresh energy and a deep love for this community.”
“We don’t plan on making many changes,” Chuck told Sebastian Daily. “The hours will be extended, and the cheesesteak’s ingredients will be more authentic to our hometown in Delaware,” he added.
John and Becky urged patrons to welcome the newcomers and keep supporting the spot, noting, “Stop by, raise a glass, and keep making memories here—the heart of Sebastian deserves it.”
J.J. Manning’s has been a community hub since opening under the couple’s watch.
