Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida unveiled a new cookie Wednesday for the 2026 season, adding Exploremores — a rocky road ice cream-inspired treat — to its popular lineup.
The sandwich cookie features flavors of chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond-flavored crème, designed to capture the adventurous essence of Girl Scouting.
Local troops will sell Exploremores alongside classics like Thin Mints, Samoas and Tagalongs through online orders, door-to-door sales and cookie booths across South Florida.
“Exploremores is more than just a delicious new cookie. It represents the bold, adventurous spirit of every Girl Scout,” said Lisa Johnson, the council’s CEO. “Cookie sales help our girls unbox a world of possibilities as they learn, grow and thrive. Through their experiences, they build courage, confidence and character that last a lifetime.”
The Girl Scout Cookie Program, billed as the world’s largest girl-led entrepreneurial effort, teaches participants skills in goal setting, decision-making, money management, people skills and business ethics. Proceeds remain in the community to fund troop activities, leadership training, STEM programs, outdoor adventures and service projects.
South Florida’s cookie season begins Jan. 12, 2026, and ends Feb. 15. Customers can visit girlscoutcookies.org or text “Cookies” to 59618 for notifications when sales start.

Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida serves about 6,100 girls and 3,600 volunteers in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee counties, focusing on leadership development in a supportive environment.
