SEBASTIAN — Shoppers in Indian River and Brevard counties will soon have two new ALDI stores to visit. The discount grocer plans to open stores at 995 Sebastian Blvd. in Sebastian and 7960 U.S. 1 in Micco in early April.
Both locations once housed Winn-Dixie stores that have since closed. A sneak peek day is set for April 8, with grand openings the next day, according to its website.
Sneak Peek
Customers can shop the fully stocked stores during the sneak peek on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, and find their favorite ALDI products.
Ribbon Cutting
The grand opening events will take place on Thursday, April 9, 2026. A ribbon-cutting ceremony starts at 8:30 a.m. at each location, about 30 minutes before the stores open to the public. Customers may enter right after the ceremony.
The first 200 customers at each store on opening day will get a free goodie bag. ALDI workers will hand out eco-friendly bags filled with ALDI products.
Those same first 200 shoppers will also receive a Golden Ticket. The ticket could be worth up to $100. Workers will hand out laminated numbered cards. It runs from the time the store opens on April 9, 2026, until it closes that day or until all prizes are claimed, whichever comes first. It is open to U.S. residents age 18 and older who live within 50 miles of the store.
Free ALDI shopping totes will also be available while supplies last. Shoppers should look for ALDI employees to get one.
Both new stores will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.
ALDI is known for low prices and a simple shopping setup. The new locations will add more affordable grocery options in the area.
The chain has been expanding fast across Florida and is often ranked as the nation’s fastest-growing grocer. In many parts of the state, it ranks second only to Publix in market share.
