Sebastian River High School (SRHS) has two competition cheer teams: College Style Game Day and Traditional. Over the weekend, both teams competed at UCA Nationals at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando.

It is only the second year their traditional team, “Shark Royalty,” has competed. One hundred fourteen teams were competing in the small varsity division 1 category. The Sharks came in 10th in their group and moved on to the semi-finals.

This is the first time an Indian River County high school cheer team made it into the semi-finals and competed in front of the magical cheerleading Disney Castle.

Congratulations, SRHS cheerleaders, coaches, and family!
