SEBASTIAN – Lillie May Barton of Sebastian, Florida passed away on August 31, 2018 from complications from surgery. Lillie was born in Camden NJ on April 23 1926. She worked as a clerk typist throughout her life.
Barton started at RCA when she was a young woman and ended her career at The State of Rhode Island, department of taxation.
She is survived by her daughter one son in law Miriam and Thomas Barton, her stepson John Barton and her stepdaughter Marie Russell, her grandchildren Russell Short, Kate Short, Quentin Cookson and Craig Cookson, and her great-granddaughters Kassidy Cookson and Samantha Short.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Lillie’s life by gathering for a Memorial Service at Friendship Christian Community Church, 611 Schumann Drive, Sebastian, FL, on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in her name to Friendship Christian Community Church, where she shared in a loving community in the final years of her life.
