Roger Lewis Mastranunzio, 77, formally of Chestertown, NY, died Thursday, May 27, 2021, in Mountain City, Tennessee.
He has born December, 18, 1943, in Buchanan, New York. He was the son of the late Harold and Helen (Raymond) Mastranunzio.
Roger and his family lived in Chestertown for 12 years before moving to Lake Worth, Florida for 14 years. After his sons started their own lives, Roger relocated to Sebastian, Florida, for 33 years, the place he called home and was his happiest.
Roger was a retired self-employed painter, wallpaper hanger, and drywall man.
Roger will be remembered as being a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, and avid fisherman. His love for the sunshine state grew with each fishing trip. Roger loved fishing but what he was known for was his love for his family and friends. Anyone that knew Roger knew he was a friend to all.
He is survived by his two sons, Scott L. Mastranunzio and his wife Kristin of Midway Park, NC, and Brian V. Mastranunzio and his wife Vickie of Lake Worth, Florida; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers Harold and Stephen Mastranunzio, and his sister Helen Mayer.
A remembrance celebration will be held at The Pelican Pub on June 26th at 1:00 pm in Sebastian, Florida.
