Visiting Nurses Association of the Treasure Coast and Senior Resource Association are partnering to administer COVID-19 vaccines to the homebound in Indian River County at no cost.
The VNA and the Senior Resource Ass. are administering the Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to anyone in Indian River County who is homebound and meets the State of Florida Executive order for eligibility as of 3/22/2021.
State of Florida Executive Order Eligibility (as of 3/22/2021)
- Long-term care facility residents and staff
- Persons 50 years of age and older
- Health care personnel with direct patient contact
- Persons determined by a physician to be extremely vulnerable to COVID-19 – Such physician determinations shall include a statement that the patient meets the defined eligibility criteria established by a form prescribed by the Florida Department of Health.
