According to data released by the Department of Health on Wednesday, Sebastian rose to 65 new COVID-19 cases since Monday. There’s been approximately 33 new cases reported each day since last week.
The number of new cases is also rising in Roseland, Vero Lake Estates, Fellsmere, Wabasso, Barefoot Bay, Micco, and Grant-Valkaria.
Many residents have been frustrated with the lack of COVID-19 vaccines, but the Department of Health is working on providing more vaccines soon. We will provide more information once it’s released.
Please do your part in the community and follow the CDC guidelines. Please social distance and wear a mask when gathering in crowds.
