Sebastian COVID-19 numbers on the rise, but fewer hospitalizations and deaths

Sebastian, Florida Coronavirus Update.

Sebastian, Florida Coronavirus Update.

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Sebastian is still rising, and it appears that younger people are now contracting the coronavirus more than ever before, according to state health officials.

However, the number of patients at local hospitals and deaths related to the virus have dropped. COVID-19 is still a serious pandemic in Florida and should be taken seriously.

Fellsmere numbers are still high, but they may be slowing down this week. We won’t know for sure until Friday.

We will talk about these numbers and the mandatory face mask discussion during our Sebastian Daily Newscast prior to tonight’s meeting at City Hall.

Please wear a mask when in stores, wash your hands regularly, and practice social distancing.
