Sebastian COVID-19 Cases Drop Slightly, but Deaths Rise in Indian River County

According to data released by the Department of Health, Sebastian dropped from 33 to 19 COVID-19 cases per day. However, this past week, the number of deaths have climbed in Indian River County.

There are also declines in surrounding areas in Roseland, Barefoot Bay, Micco, and Grant-Valkaria. However, these numbers can change at any time.

COVID-19 cases are still increasing in Fellsmere, and Vero Beach.

13 COVID-19 patients have died this past week in Indian River County. The health department said 5 of the 13 patients died on Thursday alone.

The Florida Department of Health Indian River will hold four vaccination clinicsTuesday, January 12, through Friday, January 15, by-appointment-only for individuals 65 years and older at the Indian River County Fairgrounds (7955 58th Avenue in Vero Beach).
