The Sea of Pink Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness held in Barefoot Bay on October 19, 2019, was a huge success.
There were over 300 residents, friends, and family members who participated. Everyone who showed up and participated made the best of it despite the not so great weather.
It was a sea of pink as everyone showed up. Yes, even the men were sporting pink to show their support for breast cancer awareness.
I was honored to be in attendance with my Barefoot Bay Aqua Zumba Family. It was an experience I will never forget!
On October 22, 2019, the Barefoot Bay CVO presented the American Red Cross with a check for $17,741.50.
When this community comes together, they can make a huge difference.
