Sebastian now has 125 COVID-19 cases, however, the health department is not providing us with cases in which people have recovered.
Cleveland Clinic Indian River County has 11 ICU patients with COVID-19. Sebastian River Medical Center has no COVID-19 patients in the ICU.
Florida broke a new record Saturday with more than 15,000 new COVID-19 cases, and Sunday was 12,343. The number of cases is due to do additional testing, according to state health officials.
There are 8,095 people in Florida hospitals. There are approximately 1,138 ICU beds available in the state.
Data from the state health department shows that most people between ages 25 to 34 years old are now contracting the virus. The number of deaths are also low.
To prevent another possible state-wide Florida shutdown, please help by wearing a mask in stores, wash your hands regularly, and practice social distancing.
