Health officials are reporting 33 confirmed coronavirus cases in Indian River County, Florida. 5 patients are non-residents.
Brevard County, our neighbor to the north, now has 38 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
The Indian River County patients are 19 men and 14 women between the ages of 8 to 84. There are 4 people hospitalized, and no deaths.
About 324 people tested negative in Indian River County.
Cleveland Clinic, Indian River Hospital, is providing drive-through testing by appointments from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. To make an appointment, call the hospital at 772-226-4846.
Florida
The big concern right now is the state of Florida. The daily cases are soaring steadily.
Florida now has 6,338 total cases (6,096 are residents, 242 are non-Florida residents), and there have been 77 deaths. About 53,773 people have tested negative in Florida. Over 715 people are hospitalized in the state.

So far, the new cases in Florida peaked on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
United States
According to numbers by the CDC, there are 189,753 cases (46,000 since yesterday), and there have been 4,090 deaths (900 people since yesterday).
The number of people recovering from the virus is 7,141 in the United States (almost doubled since yesterday).
Global
Around the world, there are over 883,225 cases of coronavirus and over 44,156 (5,100 people died yesterday). Approximately 185,377 people have recovered from the virus worldwide.
