Florida broke a new record Saturday with 15,299 new COVID-19 cases, but 123,501 people tested negative. More than 143,000 people were tested for coronavirus Saturday throughout the state.

Data from the state health department shows that most people between ages 25 to 34 years old are now contracting the virus.

The number of deaths are also low.

However, the number of local hospitalizations has increased in both Indian River County and Brevard County.

Sebastian now has 118 cases. Unfortunately, the county health department is not providing us with the number recoveries.

There are 1,153 ICU beds available in Florida.

To prevent another possible state-wide Florida shutdown, please help by wearing a mask in stores, wash your hands regularly, and practice social distancing.
