Florida reported 9,261 new COVID-19 cases Monday. State health officials say they tested 67,160 people, although the exact date of the tests and when people received their results is still a mystery.

Data from the state health department shows that most people between ages 25 to 34 years old are now contracting the virus.

While we had two more Coronavirus related deaths this week in Indian River County, the number of deaths across the state still remain low.

However, the number of local hospitalizations has increased in both Indian River County and Brevard County.

Sebastian now has 132 cases. Unfortunately, the county health department is not providing us with the number recoveries.

There are 1,146 ICU beds available in Florida.

To prevent another possible state-wide Florida shutdown, please help by wearing a mask in stores, wash your hands regularly, and practice social distancing.
