There are now five confirmed coronavirus cases in Indian River County, health officials tell Sebastian Daily.

All five patients are residents in Indian River County, two men, and three women. Two of the cases are travel-related.

There are no deaths in the county at this time caused by COVID-19.

County officials earlier said 43 people have tested negative, and 9 tests are still pending. Only one person is being monitored at this time.

The average age in the Indian River County cases so far is 63. Right now, all patients are between 30 and 84 years of age.

Florida now has 763 active coronavirus cases and 12 deaths. About 1,080 people are being monitored in the state of Florida at this time.
