Health officials are reporting 24 confirmed coronavirus cases in Indian River County. 2 patients are non-residents.

Brevard County, our neighbor to the north, now has 31 confirmed COVID-19 cases.

The Indian River County patients are 14 men and 10 women between the ages of 25 to 84. The average age is 57. There are 2 people hospitalized, and no deaths.

About 218 people tested negative in Indian River County.

Cleveland Clinic, Indian River Hospital, is providing drive-through testing by appointments from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. To make an appointment, call the hospital at 772-226-4846.

Florida

The big concern right now is the state of Florida. The daily cases are soaring steadily.
