Sebastian residents know they can always find family-friendly patriotic ways to celebrate the Fourth of July, whether it be a parade, the freedom festivities at Riverview park, or watching our spectacular fireworks.  

Here is a rundown of Parades, Festivals, Live Music, and Fireworks in/around Sebastian for Sunday, July 3, 2022, and Monday, July 4, 2022.  

51st Annual Freedom Festival – City of Sebastian/Sebastian Lion’s Club 

The parade will Monday, July 4, 2022, at 8:30 am beginning at Davis Street & Indian River Drive. The route will proceed south on Indian River Drive past Riverview Park.

The 51st Annual Freedom Festival in Riverview Park will be from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and include family-friendly contests, live music, and fireworks over the Indian River.

Riverview Park is located at US-1 & Co Rd 512, in Sebastian.

Independence Day Celebration (Barefoot Bay)

Barefoot Bay will be hosting an Independence Day Celebration on Sunday, July 3, 2022, with a Golf Cart Parade, Live Music, and Food Truck.

The Golf Cart Parade will begin at 11:00 am behind the shopping plaza in the field behind RJ’s Family Restaurant and Holy Cannoli Bakery. Participants should arrive no later than 10:30 am. There will be prizes for the best cart immediately following the parade under the oaks. (Must have a Barefoot Bay Pass or Visitors Pass for Events)

Captain Hirams Resort 

Capt Hirams Resort will be having its Fourth of July Celebration on Sunday, July 3, 2022, from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm on the sandbar with burgers & hotdogs from the grill served with baked beans and cole slaw.
