The Florida Craft Brew and Wingfest gets underway in Vero Beach.

VERO BEACH – The Florida Craft Brew and Wingfest will get underway on February 18, 2017, from 11:30-4:00 p.m. on Royal Palm Pointe in Vero Beach.

The will be the 6th Annual Florida Craft Brew event hosted by the Sunrise Rotary Vero Beach. Last year, more than 12,000 people showed up.

There will be over 200 craft beers available for tasting with a $35 tasting bracelet ($30 in advance). In addition, 18 cookers will be vying for the “Best Wings in Vero” contest and four bands will perform on two stages for entertainment (The Jacks Band, Southern Exposure, Jeff Vitolo & the Quarter Mile Rebels and Dave Scott and the Reckless Shots).

You will also find a root beer contest for the kids, a wing eating contest for the hardy with lots of family fun.

Parking will be at Parc 24 with bus services into the Pointe. There is also a water shuttle from Memorial Island, so parking at Riverside Park is also an option.

All proceeds supporting the Sunrise Rotary Vero Beach Foundation. Sunrise uses these funds to do community projects like saving the seagrass in the lagoon or taking Youth Guidance kids fishing, supporting Youth Sailing Foundation’s Regatta, providing support for St Francis Manor’s new building fund and buying every pre-K kid in Indian River County a book, providing 7 scholarships, buying a bus for a school in the Dominican Republic, we can go on as there are over 60 projects that are supported by the Sunrise Rotary Club.​
