Woman asking for stolen urn be returned.

VERO BEACH – A woman is seeking the return of her father’s ashes and urn that was stolen out of her car, which was parked on Turtle Trail Beach Access in Vero Beach.

Malorie Beth said she parked her 2013 Kia Forte at around 3:55 p.m. to walk the beach. When she returned at around 5 p.m., she noticed that someone had smashed the car’s window and stole her purse and urn.

“I don’t care about my purse, but my dad’s ashes were in there,” Beth said.

Beth is offering a reward if her father’s urn is found.

“My dad just passed recently and that’s all I have left of him,” Beth explained. “That urn means everything to me.”

It’s a small silver urn with a blue pattern etched in it.
