VERO BEACH – The Vero Beach Police Department have received numerous reports of vehicle burglaries this morning on the Beachside.

Officers handled seven burglary reports so far, starting as early as 5 a.m. this morning.

“Majority of the incidents are reported along Flamevine, Dahlia, and Mockingbird,” the VBPD said in a statement.

All the vehicles were left unlocked. Police ask residents to check their vehicles as soon as possible and report anything suspicious by calling (772) 978-4600.

“This is a busy season, and most schools are currently on spring break, which adds to the volume of folks in our area,” the VBPD said.

Police remind everyone to always lock their vehicles and remove all valuables.
