A man faces 20 counts of felony child pornography in Vero Beach.

VERO BEACH – A 63-year-old man is facing multiple charges of child pornography following a search warrant at his Vero Beach home Tuesday afternoon, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.

Luis Herman Idarraga, who told detectives he’s a golf maintenance worker at Grand Harbor in Vero Beach, is facing twenty felony counts.

Idarraga first told investigators that he had no such photos of children at his home.

However, investigators found twenty photos on a laptop computer located in a spare bedroom in his home.

“Each photograph that depicts more than one child is an additional charge of possessing child pornography,” the detective said.

The images found on Idarraga’s computer were female children standing fully nude or some not wearing a top or bottom.

Idarraga admitted to investigators that he downloaded the images from the Internet. He also stated that the photos were children age 10.

Idarraga said he did not feel as if he had done anything wrong because the child pornography was found on the Internet.

He was arrested and transported to the Indian River County Jail. Bond was set at $50,000.
